Swim & Tennis

Meadow Brook's Swim and Tennis memberships both offer family oriented and child friendly summer activities for everyone.

IMG_3146 The pool offers recreational swimming, swim lessons and a competitive swim team for children ages 6-16. Our Red Cross Certified teaching staff provides excellent instruction for all levels, from complete beginners to competitive swim team members. Meadow Brook is a founding member of the North Shore Swim League which was founded in 1963 and consists of Five Clubs. It is a highly competitive League and the Meadow Brook Marlins have won the annual "Big Meet" four of the past five years. Swim team activities include: daily practice and weekly meets, weekly team breakfasts, movie nights, a relay carnival, pasta party and post Big Meet pizza/pool party. We conclude the season with the annual Swim Team Banquet in the clubhouse. Pool amenities include: a wading pool ( for children age 5 or younger), a 25 yard in-ground pool with a diving board, a new pool house with showers, an open deck area with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas, picnic tables and grills and open grassy areas for recreation.

20_Against_One The tennis program offers both adult and child clinics and tournaments, tennis team (for middle and high school players), rookie racquets” (for the very young hitters), private and semi-private lessons. The Meadow Brook tennis facility has two clay and two hard courts and a covered, shaded picnic area. Highlights of the summer include: an annual pro-am tournament in which members are paired with an area pro to compete in a round robin tournament, adult and child member-member tournaments, adult clinics in the evening, women’s clinics in the morning, men’s round robin play in the evening, a junior-senior event in which parents have the opportunity to play with their child and the annual tennis banquet and pro exhibition to wrap-up the season.

At Meadow Brook we take great pride in the fact that our members feel the pool and tennis courts are a home-away-from-home.
